Kenya vacuum cooling
Uhuru, which means "freedom" in Kiswahili, is located on the northern slopes of Mt Kenya near the city of Timau. The farm is located at an altitude of 2600 meters above sea level, making it one of the highest rose farms in Kenya.
The altitude combined with the latitude (they are located just a few kilometers from the equator) ensure that Uhuru can produce top quality roses all year round. Their goal is to produce consistent, high-quality cut roses with a large head size, excellent vase life and ultimate presentation.
